Responsible Participation

Our Commitment to a Safe Experience

1. Our Philosophy

At The First Nations Health Foundation, we are dedicated to providing a safe, secure, and enjoyable experience for all participants in our Raffle & 50/50 Draw. We believe that participating in fundraising events should be an entertaining and fun activity while supporting health programs and services for First Nations communities across British Columbia. We promote a responsible approach and offer resources to help participants make informed decisions.

2. Tips for Responsible Participation

To ensure your experience remains positive, we recommend keeping the following guidelines in mind:

  • Participate for Entertainment and Support: View this raffle and 50/50 draw as a form of entertainment and a way to support The First Nations Health Foundation's conservation efforts, not as a source of income or a way to recover from financial difficulties.
  • Set a Budget: Before you participate, decide on a budget you are comfortable with. Only use funds that you can afford to spend and do not exceed your set limit.
  • Understand the Draw: Familiarize yourself with the rules and prize structure. Main Raffle: Approximately $120,000 in prizes (vehicles, trips, gear). 50/50 Draw: 50% of gross ticket sales (up to approximately $450,000). Ticket packages: 5-pack for $20, 20-pack for $60, or 50-pack for $100.
  • Keep It in Perspective: Remember that draw outcomes are based entirely on chance.
  • Remember the Purpose: Your participation supports The First Nations Health Foundation's health programs and services for First Nations communities across British Columbia.

3. Age and Location Requirements

This Raffle & 50/50 Draw is strictly intended for individuals who are 19 years of age or older. We employ verification measures to prevent underage access to our platform. It is illegal for anyone under the age of 19 to purchase a ticket. Tickets must not be sold to any person under the age of 19.
